- How was Ladakh linked to Silk Route?
Ladakh’s only real town is Leh, at an altitude of 3500 metres. Leh is an old trading town on the Silk Road that linked India with the Chang Tang and Tibet to the east and Kashmir, the passes of the Karakoram mountains and central Asia to the north and west.
Summers in Ladakh (June- September) are truly beautiful with moderate temperatures and hospitable environment for the tourists.
I’m taking a Leh Ladakh trip. Is it worth it?
Yes!!! it is really worth visiting Ladakh. Ladakh is an adventure playground for rafting, sight seeing, camping, hot air balooning and trekking. The best time to visit Ladakh is between May to September.

Activity details
Arrive Leh-Transfer to the hotel. Our representative will receive you from the airport. Full day rest for acclimatization. Dinner & overnight at Leh Hotel.
After breakfast visit to Hall of fame museum, Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River), Spituk, magnetic hill, Pathar sahib Gurdwara. Return back to Leh Hotel. Dinner & Overnight
After breakfast start your tour of Pangong Lake. Drive through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful
panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt at Tsoltak, the
summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Arrive and check-In at Campsite near the lake. Dinner and Overnight stay at Camp.
After breakfast enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. In the afternoon checkout and drive back to Leh enroute visit to Monasteries like Shey Palace & Thiksey Monastery etc. Arrive and check-in at hotel. Evening free for independent activities.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.
After Breakfast drive to Khardongla Pass the highest motorable road in the world (18,380 ft. ) Khardungla Pass. Evening return back to Leh. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Leh hotel.
Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board the flight back to destination. Journey Ends.

- The package prices are subject to change in case of any revision in the hotel accommodation tariffs/any hike in the transport cost (including fuel hike) or in case of any addition tax levied by government of state Jammu & Kashmir
- 20% cancellation charges if cancelled before 45 days before the tour.
- 35% cancellation charges if cancelled between 45 – 30 Days before the tour.
- 50% cancellation charges if cancelled between 30 – 10 Days before the tour.
- No refund if cancelled before 10 days of trip start.
- No Refund or Compensation on any changes on ongoing trip.
