1.) Kasol Kheerganga

The best part about this trek is that you get a natural hot spring at the summit at 10,000 ft along with the snowy Himalayan peaks throughout your trek. This trek is one of a kind experience as you get to get deep into the Parvati Valley with babbling Beas River alongside, traveling across the Verdant gorge increasing through pine and oak forests. 

If you’re into Indian mythology, you will get to know why Lord Shiva’s son decided to meditate here for thousands of years from the locals.You will meet beautiful waterfalls and Lord Shiva’s temple on your way to your destination.

2.) Chopta Chandrashila

You will get the feels of Switzerland on this trek as Chopta is also known as the ‘Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand.’ Your destination at an altitude of 13,000 feet. 

The summit of Tungnath, is one of the famous tourist attractions for high altitude trek lovers, located at a height of 4,000 meters above sea level. You can also catch sight of magnificent Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch, and Chaukhamba peaks.

The trek is full of lush greens and jungles and snowy peaks and paths. You will reconnect with nature and later, proceed towards Chandrashila – the ‘Moon Rock’ summit of the Tungnath.

Best season- April-June, temperature moderately high with pleasant weather 

Jan – Mid May – for snow treks with trees ladened with snow

3.) Parashar Lake

The lake has a floating island and the depth of the lake is unknown. This place can be your perfect escape from city life. In the honor of Rishi Prashar, an ancient pagoda-styled temple stands tall on the shore of the river. The lake is settled in the gorgeous Kullu valley in the middle of the tough Dhauladhar Ranges. 

One thing about this place that leaves you with no other option than to visit is that it provides 180-degree views of Phir Panjal, Dhauladhar, and Kinnaur Mountain ranges from the peak point which makes one fall harder for mother nature. 

Best season- April, May, September for lush green of the valley

For chilly beauty of snow covered lake then, Nov- Feb based on the weather forecast

4.) Gawacha Tosh Kheerganga

This is one of the tourist destinations that breathes new life into you. This trek to Kheerganga and tosh valley holds Bhuntar, Rudra Nag, and Barshini on the way with the captivating beauty of Parvati valley and the Himalayas covered with snow. 

On your trek you can visit Manikaran, a small town, with hot springs and a Gurudwara where Prasad at Langar is served. 

 

Best season- May, ideal month to experience pleasant weather

5.) Kullu-Manali (Bijli Mahadev)

Some of the most stunning temples of India are nestled in Kullu, Bijli Mahadev temple being one of them due to its astonishing beauty, situated at a height of 2,460 meters above sea level, 22 Km away from Kullu. 

To reach this temple you’ll have to do a 3 Km trek uphill, moderately difficult. Legends say that the temple gets struck by lightning every year, giving the temple name after lightning. 

Best season- Mar to June – cool and relaxing weather with subtle chill
